Arraignment of noodles thief The quick arraignment of a security guard, who allegedly attempted to steal noodles from a kiosk, is an injustice of the Nigeria judicial system and a show of the lack of solidarity among the ordinary citizens. When the corruption crusade started with those who mismanaged our resources, there was a hue and cry against their prosecution. The man attempted to steal because of the systemic failure which makes it possible for only a few to benefit from the system, while the vast majority wallow in abject poverty. Ordinary Nigerians want our leaders to make the system work for all; in justice and equity. Our judiciary is bias. Judges give scandalous and reckless judgments mostly against ordinary Nigerians. For any nation to advance, the judicial system must be free, fair and impartial.
