9ice, Ruggedman & Toni Payne: THE TRUTH

Once upon a time, controversial rapper and clothing line owner, Ruggedman and 9ice were very close friends. In fact, some people started to know about 9ice when the rapper featured him in one of his songs back then entitled ‘Ruggeddy Baba.’ But that is ancient history as today, the two don’t see eye to eye. When 9ice released his controversial single, ‘Once Bitten’, tongues wagged and the rumour mill claimed 9ice sang about his marriage in the song. Many were quick to say 9ice was referring to Ruggedman as the man he said he caught sleeping with his lover. What made the issue to look credible was that it was almost after the release of the controversial song that 9ice ended his marriage with Toni Payne. Though some of 9ice’s friends were expecting him to speak with the media that he was not referring to Ruggedman and Toni Payne in the song, but this did not quickly come, which made some of them to conclude that 9ice was happy with the controversies surrounding the song, which was boosting its rating on the charts then. Speaking on a TVC programme, ‘Entertainment Splash’, Nigeriafilms reports that 9ice explained that he is yet to forgive Ruggedman. According to him, he cannot forgive the rapper because what caused the ‘malice’ between them was yet to be settled. He said, “I can’t forgive Ruggedman if he does not apologise to me.” When asked the offence the rapper committed, the singer, who is now a Special Assistant to the Oyo State governor, Abiola Ajimobi, said, “He interfered in another man’s matter.” He further revealed that, “Ruggedman did not sleep with Toni Payne, he dares not do that,” saying in Yoruba language that ‘Iyawo ole ni won ma ngba’, which loosely means ‘it is only a lazy man’s wife that can be snatched.’ Hmm, so which matter the Ruggedman allegedly interfere in that is making it so difficult for 9ice to bury the hatchet?‎ On the other hand... Beef With 9Ice Is History Already – Ruggedman ‎ Ruggedman during a twitter chat today, Friday October 23rd,2015, with a twitter user with the username: @DinkyCC, said he has settled his own end of the beef years ago when the user asked him if he still had unsettled issues 9ice. Check out his tweet below: I settled my end of it years ago. — The blessed one (@RuggedyBaba) October 23, 2015 Ruggedy was also said during the twitter interview that he has no immediate plans or intention to go into politics but didn’t rule out the possibility of later becoming a politician. See his tweet below: I am not politically minded but then again “never say never. Ndi Abia kaa nu o!! — The blessed one (@RuggedyBaba) October 23, 2015‎ ‎ HOWEVER..... 9ICE. Clears The Air On The Allegation That His ex-wife Cheated On Him With Ruggedman ‎ This became necessary after his ex-wife, Tony Payne, was trolled on Twitter some days back, for siding with Iceprince in his girlfriend’s cheating brouhaha. Statement from 9ICE regarding Toni Payne and Once Bitten Twice Shy. It has come to my attention that some people were up to some mischief harassing Toni Payne regarding an evil rumor that was spread years ago. I would like to use this opportunity to state categorically that the song Once Bitten Twice shy was not and can never be about Toni Payne. I have NEVER accused her or told anybody that she cheated on me because she DID NOT. It did not happen and it was never an issue. Let me be very clear. Toni Payne NEVER cheated on me. Some marriages do not work for different reasons. Unfortunately I released my album at a very delicate time in our relationship and a song from the album was taken the wrong way and things were blown out of proportion due to my silence. I have apologized to her in person and she has accepted my apology. I have moved on to a fresh start and she has moved on too. I would appreciate if the general public do the same. “I would appreciate if people refrain from insulting her for something she is not guilty of” Once again, the song Once Bitten Twice Shy was NEVER about TONI PAYNE. It was just a song. I wish I had come out sooner but I cannot change the past, I can only try and make amends for the future. It is a new dawn for us all and I hope this closes the topic permanently. If it does not, maybe it is best I release a song clarifying this issue for the 100th time because what started all this was a song and all my effort to clear that air via interviews have been futile. I assure you, I will stop at nothing to make sure this evil rumor is put to sleep once and for all. Again It was never my intention to cause her pain. My apologies to everyone who was affected. God Bless! RUGGEDMAN REPLIES:‎ In the open letter Ruggedman said 9ice’s apology came late but he still accepts it nonetheless. You can read his open letter below; “In 2010 9ice released a song that made a lot of people wrongfully drag me into a terrible situation. People who misconstrued the song and it created a rumour . A terrible false rumour that was fueled by journalists and bloggers who were only after hits on their sites. Bloggers and journalists who did not care to investigate and confirm a rumour, but chose to print and post it anyways not caring who got hurt in the process.   I remember pleading my innocence and that of Toni Payne’s but social media people being who and how they are, chose not to listen. I remember calling 9ice on the phone CIA style to talk to him about it and he was clearly heard admitting the song was not about myself or Toni Payne, but social media people being who and how they are, chose not to listen. I remember asking 9ice to publicly clear the air on the terrible rumour, but was shocked when my friend said he would not because he was busy and didn’t have time for such. Again nobody wondered why. Fast forward 2016. Six years later and I was surprised when I heard that 9ice has finally come out to say I never slept with his wife and the song was not about me and even apologised on top. That he has finally come out to say the truth about the issue that cast a negative shadow over my head and that of his ex wife for six years. Read: Ruggedman said he ended beef with 9ice years ago All I can do is smile because I know me better than anybody out there who insulted me over the matter. I said it then and i say it now, Michael Ugochukwu Stephens will never sleep with his friends wife. Families and husbands you can now relax. Your daughters and wives are safe around me hahahahaha!! To 9ice, bro you left it a bit too late. You had your chance to clear this matter up 6 years ago when it really mattered but you did not take it. I do not know why and exactly what it was that made you keep quiet all that while. I did my best to clear my name without you and moved have moved on since. Anyways I accept your apology and thank God we are all alive. To bloggers and journalists: You will be who and how you are,but the best and most successful ones amongst you will be the ones who actually get professional about with their work and try to investigate stories before putting it out there. I really hope you all realise its not all about the hits. Do not lose your humanity all because you want to be the first to break news. On a lighter note,if you want to break news, kindly break the news that my new song ft Olamide titled Seyi Shay will drop on cloud 9music and mtn plus tomorrow 5th February 2016. I wish you all the best and I appreciate everybody who has been there for me. God bless us all.“ Last month 9ice released a statement saying that his ex-wife Toni Payne never had sex with Ruggedman when they were married. He also apologized to Ruggedman. In 2010 9ice released a song titled ‘Once Bitten, Twice Shy‘ off his Tradition album. In the track he sings about a lover of his who cheated on him with his friend. Many people believed 9ice was singing about Toni Payne and Ruggedman. TONI PAYNE'S RESPONSE ‎ During the week ex-wife of singer, 9ice, Toni Payne, made a public announcement that she has forgiven her ex husband whom she has a son for after six years. Many were surprise at this development and had waited to see the singer’s reaction to the new development and indeed, the singer was happy about it. He recently told Punch that he was happy that Toni had forgiven him. 9ice stated that all along when they were not together that they still talk but the public never got to know which is why they keep peddling rumours about. He said, “I saw the write-up my ex-wife posted on the internet where she wrote that she has forgiven me after six years. It is a very good development and I am happy she had forgiven me after all these years. Contrary to public opinion we have been friends all these while. The most important thing is that even when things are not working or they are not the way they should seem with a person, you should endeavour to remain friends with the person. That is very important. We are friends and we remain friends.”‎ I'm happy all the parties are back together...I put thus pieces all up to show that nobody is perfect. Yes God bless 9ice God bless Toni Payne God bless Ruggedman aka Ruggedi Baba And well God bless you readers as we all see the truth!

Wife of US Lowest-Paid Governor, Ann LaPage takes Waitressing Job

Wife of US Lowest-Paid Governor, Ann LePage Takes Waitressing Job Ann LePage, the wife of Maine Republican Governor Paul LePage, got a waitressing job a few weeks ago to “supplement” her husband’s $70,000 per year salary, the lowest of any U.S. governor. The Governor Paul LePage made this known at a recent town hall in Maine.
The LePages live with their dog, in the Augusta governor’s mansion and bought a $215,000 Boothbay home two years ago. The governor recently tried but failed to increase his successor’s salary to $150,000 per year, above the nearly $135,000 average for all 50 state governors in 2015. Ann LePage said being a waitress is “something I’ve always, always wanted to do.” LePage said she spent years taking care of her mother, who long suffered from scleroderma and passed away in October. Now it’s time to follow through on her interest, LePage said, adding: “I know she’d be proud of me.” ”Because of who I am and who I’m married to, I want to work extra hard just so I can show them I can do the job,” she said. She doesn’t tell customers, or co-workers, who she is unless they ask.

How to avoid drama with Friends

"How to Avoid Drama with Friends   Being in fights with other people can cause unnecessary stress and aggravation in your life. Because who really wants to have to worry about other people being mad at them, and sometimes even talking behind their backs? Just follow these steps to avoid having drama in your life.   . Never talk badly about other people behind their backs, no matter what. It may be a fun thing to do at the time, because there's a whole other group of people doing it, but most of the time it comes back to haunt you. The person will find out and if it's a friend of yours, it can cause a fight.   . Occasionally when it's needed, try putting others before yourself. For example, if your friend is having troubles at home, and they need to get out of the house and just talk, maybe you can stop what you're doing (if you're doing something that isn't too important) and go help your friend. People will think of you as a better person, and won't really have a reason to be mad at you...   . Don't tell someone else's secrets! Of course your friend is going to find out, from another so called friend, and they are going to confront you about this, this can lead to a lot of things, like people turning against you, and your secrets being told.   . Stay out of other people's drama! There's no reason for you to get into the middle of someone else's fight. Let them work it out on their own. Because whenever people do this, even if it's just to help a friend, you usually get dragged into it and end up having people turned against you in one way or another (this doesn't apply to putting others before yourself, in some situations you really can't).   . If you fight fire with fire, you'll end up getting burned.   . Do not deny something when someone asks you "did you do this?", be truthful. Honesty is the first requirement in friendship, and if you don't have that in a friendship, you're not getting yourself into a good situation." whow   It's never too late to change one's perception. ‎ ‎

When you get bored with your relationship, what do you do?

When you get bored with your relationship, what you can do? If you feel you are stuck in a boring relationship, then its time to insert more energy and make it lively before you give up hope on your relationship. Anything could cause boredom in your relationship as it could be personal issues, stress from work, the fact that you are getting older, or you might have lost the sparks in the relationship. Whatever the case may be, you can bring back the lost sparks, make your relationship interesting and exciting and make it work again. To bring back the sparks lost in your relationship first find out the reason for the boredom in your relationship. If it is your personal problems that is causing boredom in your relationship then you need to try and create happiness in yourself as well as in your relationship, take the opportunity to sort out your personal problems. By sorting out your personal problems you can make a difference in your relationship. Courtesy:naijapr.com
When you are through sorting out your personal problems, then you can take the next step which is the most important one, and that is to engage in completely new activities. Whatever you want to do has to be new to create that bonding effect. You can make a list of things you will like to do if you have the opportunity, make sure to include what your partner will also love to do and that will be your investment in your relationship. You can decide to have dinner together, go to the cinema, visit interesting places, travel to a new place, learn a new language e.t.c ‎ You need to keep it in mind that a relationship is like a plant, if you don’t feed and water it, then it will die. So, if you are both very busy with work, then you need to make time yourselves. Do something extraordinary, it will keep your relationship alive and healthy. You can also brainstorm together and write any ideas you can think of to change your regular pattern, even if it appears silly to you, write it, you can sift and change it later. Plan for the best and don’t forget to make each other feel special with a surprise gift or outing. Do all things necessary to get rid of boredom and keep your relationship healthy.‎

RIP Amodu Shuaibu: Unsung Hero and Legend of Nigerian Football

Amodu shuaibu’s death was announced early today by The Nigerian Football Federation, NFF. Nigeria politics online gathered that he died in his sleep after complaining of chest pains on Friday night. He died at the age of 58. Our investigation reveals that his remains will be buried today. The four-time coach of super Eagles was born on 18 April, 1958 in Edo State.  He was at various times with Dumez and Niger Tornadoes as striker. It was gathered that leg injury put an end to his career as a striker.
As a coach, Amodu has managed a number of club sides in the past both in Nigeria and overseas including: Shooting Stars, BCC Lions, El Kanemi Warriors, Sharks F.C and Orlando Pirates of South Africa. He first managed the Nigerian national team from April 2001 to February 2002, where he led Nigeria to the AFCON bronze medal at Mali 2002. He was later dismissed after the AFCON tournament. Amodu later stated that his dismissal was “unfair”, and also said that, a month later; he had yet to receive a formal letter confirming his dismissal. He was appointed Head Coach of the Nigerian national side in April 2008, and was sacked on 6 February 2010 despite reaching third place with the national side in the 2010 African Cup of Nations in Angola. He was demoted to serve as the coach of the Nigerian home-based Eagles. Amodu was appointed technical director of Nigeria’s national teams in May 2013. He was named Technical Director of Bendel Insurance F.C in November 2013. He was re-appointed Nigeria manager in October 2014, replacing Stephen Keshi. It was his fourth spell in charge of the country. Keshi returned to the role two weeks later but was fired in July 2015 and Amodu took over the Eagles again temporarily. He was replaced by Sunday Oliseh on a permanent basis later that month. Following the resignation of Sunday Oliseh, the NFF again, appointed Amodu as the new interim coach of the national team. The new coaching crew alongside Amodu was made up of Salisu Ibrahim, Alloy Agu, Imama Amakapabo and Kennedy Boboye. Amodu’s other accomplishments include Nigerian FA Cup titles with BCC Lions of Gboko and El Kanemi Warriors on multiple occasions. It is noteworthy that Amodu has always contributed his quota to the development of football in Nigeria. However, despite his remarkable achievements as Super Eagles coach, the Edo state born coach has had a turbulent relationship with Nigerian football fans and his employers. After Amodu was appointed the technical director of Nigeria’s national team in 2013, he said: “It’s a call to serve the nation. I hope we can all come together and drive our football in a positive direction. “The role is an important one as it serves as the fundamental for the country’s football. We need the support of everyone to excel.” Meanwhile, Amodu Shuaibu is gone but Nigerians home and abroad continue to mourn him due to good legacies he left behind in football industry.   Late former Super Eagles’ Coach, Amodu Shuaibu, is due for burial today. Shuaibu, as earlier reported, died in his sleep between Friday night and Saturday morning. According to the Nigeria Football Federation official twitter handle,‏ @thenff: “Amodu Shuaibu’s death comes three days after that of former Super Eagles Captain and Coach, Stephen Keshi. “The four – time Coach of the Super Eagles complained of chest pains on Friday night and died in his sleep. RIP.” Sources told The Eagle Online that the leadership of the NFF has already sent a strong delegation to his hometown in Okpella, Edo State, for the burial. Shuaibu was the technical director of the Nigerian Football Federation until his death. He was a four-time coach of the Super Eagles. Shuaibu managed a number of club sides in Nigeria. They included BCC Lions, El-Kanemi Warriors and Shooting Stars. He also managed Orlando Pirates in South Africa. He first managed the Nigerian national team from April 2001 to February 2002 when he was dismissed. He was appointed technical director of Nigeria’s national teams in May 2013. He was re-appointed Nigeria manager in October 2014, replacing Stephen Keshi. Shuaibu was born April 18, 1958. He managed the Super Eagles between 1998 and 1999, 2001 and 2002 and 2008 and 2010. He was appointed Head Coach of the Nigerian national side in April 2008 and was sacked on February 6, 2010 despite reaching third place with the national side in the 2010 African Cup of Nations. It was his fifth spell in charge of the country. Keshi returned to the role two weeks later but was fired in July 2015 and Amodu took over the Eagles again temporarily. He was replaced by Sunday Oliseh on a permanent basis later that month.
